The shaolin martial arts book, The Shaolin Workout, is a good book for flexibility training also. It have awesome pictures of shaolin monk Shi Yan Ming , the real American shaolin doing those stretches. Great for beginners and intermediates. Even for the experienced also. It is worth buying The Shaolin workout.
And the shaolin monk Shi Yan Ming wrote the shaolin workout book for the one who needs to

practise. Not for the one who keeps martial arts books as an asset.
I am practicing kung fu for some time and a great fan of shaolin warrior monks. And also i like monk Shi Yan Ming . He is a good fighter and a real shaolin kung fu master. One of his students said that he knows more than 100 shaolin forms. long live shaolin knowledge.
There is difference between knowing forms and real fighting. Mastering form only builds a master of forms, not a master of fighting.
This isn’t first shaolin work published to the outside martial art world.
you cannot grow to be a shaolin warrior out from this book. What monk shi yan ming focus on his book is the basic exercise sets of shaolin kung fu. It is better to join a good kung fu class if you really want to be a fighter.
