Martial arts torrents -vs- martial arts rapidshare / megaupload links - Fight for the best download option.
For a long while i was thinking about the free martial arts download section, powered up by torrents where people can download martial arts videos torrent, free martial arts training videos torrents, free martial arts movies torrents, torrents of martial art related free ebooks, etc. Going through the legal aspects, and considering the risk, i was thinking for an alternative for the martial arts torrents download section. One option is that having a rapidshare, megaupload type file sharing system for the purpose. So as an alternative for martial arts torrents i was planning to have a section nourished with free martial arts rapidshare or martial arts megaupload links. But the problem is that they are also vulnerable to legal issues.
So let us sort out a safe way to share and download martial arts movies, martial arts books (e-books), martial art videos, martial arts theme musics, martial arts documentaries, articles, ring fights ( ufc, k1, pride fights, etc), martial arts tournaments (traditional martial arts tournaments like Chinese wushu tournaments, karate tournaments, etc), martial arts instructional videos, other tutorials, etc.
To download martial arts movies, documentaries, and martial arts instructional videos , i prefer martial arts torrent files rather than rapidshare or megaupload, or what ever file sharing portals. These movies and training videos are of huge size. Some times these martial arts training videos comes in multiple CD / DVD packs. It may come up to a huge file size to download. So i think that on that case better if it is martial art torrent file. And if it is martial arts books scanned or in pdf / doc versions then i think rapidshare is better. Another thing is that , if there are not much feed or seeds for that particular martial arts torrents, then it will be better if we choose rapidshare, megaupload, etc for downloading. What about you then?
And please note that that idea for a martial arts torrents sections is never been killed.
Accepting comments from martial artists and non martial artists for safely running a megaupload and rapidshare martial arts download section instead of a martial arts torrents section…
(%) PEACE …
Martial Arts Torrents and Martial Arts rapidshare links, i hate both. Since we had lost a lot of bucks due to content duplication. So please do not develop neighter a martial arts torrents sub site, or a martial arts rapidshare link list.
Some of us just simply are poor…can we not afford to protect ourselves?
if i felt i must pay to learn a technique to feel safe id churn the money on a bodyguard, the case being i was rich enough. i think what you are suggesting is very noble, generous and potentially life saving….think about it.
If I may say so, and I’m afraid I must disagree with Johnny’s entry there above me (Torrents may also bring more awareness to your school and therefore more pupils and money), I think Torrents are best. And I look forward to seeing these! Thank you for the offer. Blessings.
guy its a must to preach martial arts as i being a poor guy and many others want a site like this. its the best way to bring out talented martial artists and not the rich martial artists lol. we should be available for everyone. thanks and dont be afraid to put the links.
Keep it up man. Martial arts online for free is awesome. Along with everything else on the net martial arts has become a bit sales oriented. It would be nice to see a shift toward free training resources.
This one’s sentiments exactly, martial arts should NOT be limited to the rich, it restricts so many things. I am a martial arts enthusiast- yet- the only place I can afford to train at right now is the Pak family Tae Kwon Do- only reason they’re affordable is because they rent a room out of the South suburban ymca. Martial arts should be for everyone who seriously wishes to practice and live it. Regardless of the size of our paychecks, or our locations(for some- they just may have nothing near.), that doesn’t determine who we are or what we love- what is true. I would have to say megaupload, filecabinet, media fire rapidshare just is terrible with downloads- especially in mass. Torrents can be difficult to run on a slower connection- especially with fewer seeders. If some of us could afford a better connection- we could probably just get the original copies as well.
places like megaupload and the others could be easiest to maneuver- and I believe media fire allows parallel downloads- neither rapidshare or megaupload do that without premium. This way others with more free space on their drives can keep these stored and repost them as need be- torrents can also get a little awkward.
Regardless- wishing best fortune to your endeavors everyone!
Ok if i may weigh in my 2 shekels here…
I like MA torrents… however they arent alive after a few weeks so if you arent there for the initial load… you will not get the content…
as for megaupload and rapidshare… they do search for certain content and erase it there are other sites like filesend.net… that keep stuff up but the size is limited and cutting it up then putting it together is a pain.
however if one were to disguise said file on rapid or mega… say… the file is called SHAOLIN TIGER QINNA.AVI… make it SHAOTIGQINA.avi with a lil comment encrypted with a very simple encryption like rot 13 offset.
